Before joining Adaptive, Brent was a top rated Lean and Six Sigma trainer. Additionally, he was a member of the GE Corporate team which helped facilitate GE’s adoption of Lean thinking principles and integrate Lean thinking with the existing Six Sigma culture in 2005. He has presented at numerous national conferences including the IIE Annual Conference, IIE Operational Excellence Conference, Lean Six Sigma Summit, Business Process Management Conference, Railway Supply Institute Annual Conference, National Manufacturing Week, and Industry Week’s Annual Conference.

College Bound High School Seniors in the Chicago Metropolitan Area

The Chicago Section 1201 announces a new $2500 High School Scholarship program for college bound High School Seniors in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. One recipient will be chosen each year.

Any member of ASQ Chicago Section 1201 can sponsor an applicant for the High School Scholarship. Your candidate does not have to be a family member – he or she can be a neighbor or co-worker’s son or daughter, or someone you know from church.  The High School Scholarship Award was established to honor Maurice Maurer, a devoted member of the Chicago Section.
