Joe Lisy Award 🗓 🗺

From your program chair. – James Persaud

My Fellow members,

Thank you for attending the May general meeting. The room was at capacity. Keep up the good work of attending. Bring a colleague along. It is worth it, just ask those who attended. June is our last meeting before we break for summer. Remember, there is no meeting during the summer, July & August. Enjoy your summer break. Come on out and help congratulate our awardee.

At the June meeting we will be honoring one of our own. It is called the Joe Lisy award. Created to honor him for his dedication, devotion, and service to the section. There are lots of volunteers in our section. There are those who are really devoted and sincerely go beyond the norm in ensuring that the work of the section is done. Our honoree is just one of those. He has served in numerous positions within the ASQ Chicago section. He has always stepped in whenever we have a void to a position to get the section work done. He exemplifies what the Joe Lisy award is about.

I am requesting that you all make an effort to attend. Just as Richard makes effort to help you the members in conducting the section business.
