From your Program Chair – James Persaud

My Fellow members,

On behalf of ASQ Chicago section I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and an enjoyable Holiday season.

As the program year is ending we want to also thank all of you for your support during 2017. Your attendance at meeting is what makes the difference of the Chicago section.
We are planning a most interesting program for 2018. We are planning two plant tours.

We will also plan on presenting topics such as –

Lean Six Sigma a Blended Methodology for Healthcare and Service

Change Intelligence – that is, helping build the capacity of people, teams, and organizations to lead change that sticks

Risk in medical laboratories in the context of CLIA (law and reg.) and ISO 15189

Calibrating Humans. A form of GRR for Attribute processes; among many others.

One of the plant tour is planned for G&W Electric Company. They offer many processes that will likely be of interest to most of our members. Combining cutting-edge design and manufacturing technology, G&W specializes in custom solutions to meet specific customer requirements.

We look forward to seeing you again in the new year. Remember, you are the organization, you make us what we are. We can only do it with your help. Help us help you.

Enjoy the season. See you in the New Year.
