This course is intended for individuals seeking Certification in Quality Auditing and for those who perform internal quality audits as well as a review of the examination process. The course will also cover phases of an audit, evaluation, scheduling and staffing of the audit.

This is a unique combination workshop for individuals seeking to direct or support their companies’ efforts to implement the newly revised standard. Course materials will describe the revised requirements and implementation examples, but in order to minimize course cost, copies of the standard itself are not included. Note also that the materials are targeted to ISO 9001, however these principles may also be applied to all management system standards based on Annex SL.
Section One: Introduction to ISO 9001:2015
Provide participants a thorough understanding of the revised requirements, the rationale for the requirements, and strategies for effective implementation. Discussions will also include expected audit objective evidence in respect to the dropping of requirements for procedures and manuals.
Section Two: Introduction to Risk Management for ISO 9001:2015
Present in detail the expectations for risk mitigating strategies throughout the organization from identification to prioritization, on to mitigation and evaluation of effectiveness (the risk management cycle). A review of common tools, simple solutions, discussion of ISO 31000, and various examples will be included in the first two of these sessions. The third session is participant driven with learners presenting examples in their companies while generating discussion from the expert and peers.
